Roxy is a lovely, short-haired, adult, female calico. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Roxy was rescued by a person who fostered her in a multi-cat home, but, unfortunately, Roxy did not receive enough individual attention or much opportunity to be adopted. She is a shy but very sweet cat. Roxy receives more attention in her present foster home. She also has been learning from another foster kitty, Crescent, who has become her best friend, that it is okay to be social with humans. Everyday, Roxy initiates and greets her human friends in her own way, and her confidence and comfort are continuing to grow. Her desire for human interaction can be seen. Roxy has been petted and as her confidence grows this is expected to increase. Roxy has the same nasal noisiness as Crescent which may be what has made them good friends. Roxy enjoys the companionship of other cats and should be placed in a home with another friendly cat. The ideal home for Roxy is one that will be patient as she continues to blossom, and one that will give her lots of love and attention.
