Tabitha, who has the nicknames Squirt and Cutie-Pie, is a lovely, short-haired, brown/grey and white, young adult, female tabby. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. Tabitha was one of several cats in an outdoor colony that needed to be spayed and neutered. It is felt that Tabitha, her siblings, and another cat were abandoned outside based on their overall behavior with people. Because Tabitha is young, and only shy, not feral, the decision was made to have Tabitha placed in a foster home rather than return her to a life outdoors. Once Tabitha gets to know a person, she loves to be petted, will purr, and she can be held. Tabitha is very curious and playful. She enjoys the company of other cats, and feels a sense of confidence with an older cat around, and therefore should be placed in a home with another friendly cat for companionship. Tabitha has been reunited with her brother, Tate, and it is preferred that the siblings be placed in a home together. The ideal home for Tabitha is one that will give her patience as she adjusts to her new life, and one that will give her lots of love and attention.
